As clear as the riddle of "in this bank there is a father and a son" is the call that the South Korean Samsung has made with the support of the North American Google for next October 11. The next of the famous unpacked from the Seoul firm has been postulated as a Google episode, which leaves little room for the imagination.
Because, what device did Samsung confirm that it was going to develop with Google a few months ago? Indeed: the Samsung Nexus Prime, the third generation of the Mountain View native phone.
It is the same device with which the new stage of Android would begin, with a platform, Ice Cream Sandwich, which would reconcile the mobile and tablet versions, which with Honeycomb and Gingerbread have had the opportunity to know singleness, for calling it somehow.
The fact is that, as we have already told you, Ice Cream would mean the return to a philosophy close to that of iOS, where the same system is designed according to different parameters depending on the support where it will work. Said in Roman paladino: the new Android will be the same on the firm's tablets and compatible mobiles, just as it happens with the iPad and iPhone system, where the appearance changes to adapt to the screen.
In case there was any doubt about whether the Samsung Nexus Prime will enter our lives on October 11, just check that Google has enabled an option to follow the presentation through the official Android channel on YouTube, which leaves out there is no doubt that the ice cream sandwich is about to fall.
In terms of performance, the Samsung Nexus Prime has not clearly revealed what features it would offer. There has been talk of a 4.65-inch screen, although depending on the rumors, it oscillates between a resolution WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) or HD (1,280 x 800 pixels).
The processor would operate at a speed of 1.5 GHz, although, again, the shadow of the doubt falls on this mobile, since it is not known for sure if it would be a dual-core or a single -core processor (it would be more logical to bet for the first option). As for the camera, it is surprising that the latest known is that it would integrate a maximum resolution of five megapixels.
