Samsung wave ii, new edition of the touch mobile with bada os and renewed 3.7-inch screen
At the beginning of the year, Samsung introduced what would be one of its flagships for 2010: the Samsung Wave. In addition to being its first terminal with a Super AMOLED panel, the Samsung Wave was in charge of presenting the Samsung Bada platform, the Korean operating system for smart phones. Now we know that next November, the Asian company will release an update, the Samsung Wave II or Samsung Wave S8530, a terminal with few differences compared to the edition that we knew so far, and that will cost around 430 euros.
The fundamental difference between both versions we have to look for on the screen. In the case of the Samsung Wave II, the panel becomes a Super Clear LCD, abandoning the Super AMOLED concept. The Clear LCD screens are common in some models of TV, and indeed lavished in the house Dutch Philips. In addition, not only the panel technology changes: in the Samsung Wave II its size also varies, which now has a diagonal of 3.7 inches, matching the trend of other terminals of a large format.
It is surprising that when the rest of the technical picture is analyzed, it is verified that the Samung Wave II retains the same profile as its predecessor (which already in itself at the time it was presented was anticipated as a device that surpassed its competition in power, to the point that it is not out of date yet).
Thus we find in this terminal one processor of a GHz power and a camera with five megapixel LED flash and video possibility of shooting in HD 720p resolution.
But the most interesting thing about the mobile is not in its already juicy benefits, but in the platform. The Samsung Wave II confirms the confidence of the Korean company to continue launching terminals that expand the user experience with the Bada operating system, the environment it generated to have its own application store and its own ecosystem for home terminals.
