Owners of a Samsung Wave 2 are in luck. The company itself commented through its official Facebook account that an update was waiting for users who had the second generation of the Samsung Wave S8500 model. This is the next version of the Bada operating system, known as Bada 2.0.
Although Bada 2.0 is already available in the latest Samsung phones from the Wave family - as is the case with Samsung Wave 3 - it is now the turn to update phones that were already in the manufacturer's catalog for a long time. The last to receive the latest version of the proprietary operating system is the Samsung Wave 2, a fully tactile mobile that brings a mid-range smartphone with very good finishes to the public.
With Bada 2.0, the Samsung Wave 2 will receive some improvements, such as: the ability to further customize the home screen with widgets and application shortcuts. In addition, multitasking execution is also added that will allow the user to run more than one application at the same time, as well as a redesign of the user interface, making it more attractive.
At the moment, the update to Bada 2.0 is only available for the Samsung Wave 2 that is free; Units that have been acquired with a permanent contract with an operator do not yet have an update date. On the other hand, the first model - Samsung Wave S8500 - received the update to Bada 2.0 a few days ago. However, the company has had to remove the software from the database in order to fix some bugs and improve some functions.
Finally, to update the Samsung Wave 2, the user will only have to plug the terminal to the computer through a USB port and run the Samsung Kies software, which will be in charge of notifying the owner of the mobile that an update is available and putting all the software in the smartphone memory.
