The screen resolution is beginning to emerge as another battlefield in the tablet war. With a fairly palpable homogenization between the different terminals, the tablet that breaks the deck like the iPhone 4 did in terms of pixel concretion has not yet been presented. However, as has been learned, the Korean Samsung does have on its project agenda the development of a high definition screen for its future tablets.
Without too much detail in this regard, Samsung has stressed that before 2013 there should be home devices on the market with panels that significantly multiply image quality in terms of definition. The estimates of the specialists predict an index even higher than that of the iPhone 4 (which concentrates 326 points per inch), so the first forecasts point to a value of about 400 points per inch.
If you are a bit lost with this pixel concentration, we are going to give you a couple of clues to get you started. When you view a magazine with a high-quality print, the concentration of the images is 300 dots per inch, with the definition of the images you see on the Internet generally being between 72 and 150 dots per inch. So, imagine: the proposal that Samsung reserves for the future would bet on a value that would almost multiply by six what we normally see on a screen.
Of course, compared to what we already know from other tablets, the improvement is not so crazy, although it is very notable. Specifically, if we compare with the first edition of its tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, we see that it has a density of 170 points per inch, while Apple's iPad drops to 132 points. Both are devices with excellent image quality, so you can get an idea of how interesting it would be for Samsung to bring its plans to fruition for its upcoming screens.
