2019 is not over and Samsung is already announcing its new flagship devices for next year. The South Korean company has wanted to anticipate (in a certain way) a feature of the Samsung Galaxy S11 with these two new terminals of the Galaxy A family. Find out here all the details of the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71.
Actually, these two terminals arrive to renew the Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A70, which were announced a few months ago. They do it with new features and a renewed physical appearance. Both phones have already been leaked on occasion, and rumors said that in some markets they could arrive under the name of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite (in the case of the Galaxy A50) and Galaxy Note 10 Lite for the Samsung Galaxy A71. In any case, the new mid-range of the South Korean could be more similar to the future instigated ship of Samsung: the Galaxy S11. Especially in design. Recent leaks of the Galaxy S11 have revealed a very similar physical appearance, with a rectangular black camera module and a shiny back. As well as a camera directly on the screen, in the center.
The truth is that the design of the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 does not disappoint. The frontal zone has a very good use. The hole for the camera is small and the frames at the bottom are minimal. The camera module may not be the most aesthetic, but it goes unnoticed on this rear with diamonds in different color finishes. The frames are made of aluminum, in the same tone as the rear cover.

And not only in design; The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 also feature a quad camera, a configuration that is also expected on the Samsung Galaxy S11. In this case, the Galaxy A51 mounts a 48 megapixel main sensor. It is followed by a second 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a third 5-megapixel depth-of-field sensor and a fourth macro lens, also 5-megapixel, which will allow us to take pictures at close range. The Samsung Galaxy A71 includes a quad camera setup with a similar setup. The difference is that the main lens does not take pictures in resolution of up to 48 megapixels, but it does so in 64 megapixels. In both models the camera for selfies is 32 megapixels.
Two screen sizes and more battery the A71
The Samsung galaxy A51 is the tighter of the two, although this does not mean that it has poor specifications. It has a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD + resolution. The panel is AMOLED and there are hardly any frames on the front. The terminal includes an eight-core processor, and is accompanied by 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM. There are also different variants of internal storage: 64 or 128 GB, which are also expandable via micro SD. All this with a 4,000 mAh battery, which includes fast charging.
The Galaxy A71 has a larger screen, it is 6.7 inches. Again, with Full HD + resolution and a screen with AMOLED technology. In performance we see some differences. Here we do not have the 4 GB configuration, the minimum version is 6 and the maximum is 8. In both cases with an internal storage of 128 GB (also expandable via micro SD). Although Samsung has not specified the processor model, this is also an eight-core. In this case six cores work at 1.8 Gz and two at 2.2 Ghz. The battery grows to 4,500 mAh and the fast charge is more powerful, since it is 25W instead of the 15W that arrive in the A51.
In terms of connections and security, the two terminals have the same: both allow facial recognition and a fingerprint reader is included on the screen. They come with NFC, so we can make mobile payments through Samsung Pay. And as for the software, they both come standard with Android 10 and One uI 2.0.
Price and availability
At the moment we do not know the price and availability of both devices. They have just been announced, so we will have to wait for Samsung to confirm how much they will cost and when they will be available to buy. In Spain there is still no news.
