Same design with one crucial difference

The Galaxy M01s arrives with a body practically traced to that of the Galaxy M01, a body that uses polycarbonate to reduce the manufacturing cost. The difference with respect to the original model is that now we find a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The rest of the details are mostly identical.

In short, the phone has a 6.2-inch TFT screen and a matrix with HD + resolution. Recall that the original model has a diagonal of 5.71 inches. Interestingly, the two terminals have the same 4,000 mAh battery module. The bad news is that we still have a micro USB connection. In other words, the phone lacks fast charging.

Mediatek heart and a fair memory configuration

Samsung wanted to differentiate the Galaxy M01 from the original model by installing a Mediatek processor in the core of the phone; specifically the Helio P22. It is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable through micro SD cards.

For the rest, the terminal has a 3.5 mm port for headphones, as well as Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS compatible with all satellites. Unfortunately, the phone has Android 9, an outdated version today.

Same cameras as its predecessor

In the photographic section, the differences are practically non-existent if we use the list of specifications of the terminal. Two cameras of 13 and 2 megapixels is what we find in the rear. The secondary camera is intended to improve body detection in Portrait mode, while the 13-megapixel camera acts as the main sensor, with an f / 1.8 focus aperture that is a slight improvement over the Galaxy's main sensor. M01, with a less bright f / 2.2.

As for the front camera, the phone uses a single 8 megapixel sensor with a focal aperture f / 2.0. Both cameras support 1080p video recording at 30 FPS.

Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy M01s

And we come to the most interesting point. The Galaxy M01s is available in India for a price that is about 115 euros. If we look at the company's roadmap with the rest of the M series phones, everything indicates that it will arrive in Spain in the coming weeks for a fairly similar price that could be around 130 euros.
