Just a few days ago Samsung confirmed in a teaser the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy M51, the renewal of the M50. The company has never confirmed the release date, but the large number of rumors and leaks made us think that its arrival was very close. Now, the South Korean company has already officially announced it. This new mobile comes with a very interesting feature: the largest battery ever seen in a mobile. In addition to features that are very interesting for the mid-range.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 has a battery of nothing more and nothing less than 7,000 mAh. It is the first time that we see such a great autonomy in a mobile. Normally, terminals with a large battery tend to be around 5,000 or 6,000 mAh. In this case, with the 7,000 mAh of the Galaxy M51 we can get up to 4 days of use without any problem. Or even more if we choose to make some adjustments in order to save battery. For example, apply the dark mode on the system or activate the 'Battery saving' option through the settings.
In addition to this, the Galaxy M51 can also serve as an external battery to charge other devices. We will only need a USB C to USB C cable to connect it to the port of the two mobiles and the terminal will begin to charge the other device. And speaking of charging, in this case we have 25W, which is considered fast charging. Samsung has not provided data on the speed of the charge, but we can expect 50 percent to charge in about half an hour. Of course, the full charge would take longer to arrive considering that it is not a 4,000 mAh battery.
With such a large battery, it does sacrifice in weight and dimensions, although fortunately it is not something huge. The Galaxy M51 has a thickness of 8.5 millimeters and a weight of 213 grams. Samsung has chosen to give a design with curved edges to this terminal, which not only offers a better grip, but also gives the feeling that it is thinner.
