Samsung presents two versions of the galaxy a51 and a71 with 5g

It had been rumored since the end of March and finally the company has made it official. Samsung has just introduced two versions of the Samsung Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 with 5G connectivity. With this launch, the company brings the most advanced network technology to the mid-range of its portfolio for the first time. And it is that in the absence of official confirmation, everything indicates that the price will be very similar to the starting price of the Galaxy A51 and A71, terminals that we were able to analyze a few weeks ago in their respective articles.

Samsung Galaxy A51 5G: 5G connectivity, more RAM and more battery

The cheapest model in Samsung's mid-range is updated with 5G. This technology adds to the list of specifications present in the original Galaxy A51, such as WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac connectivity and the presence of Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and GPS + GLONASS connections. The rest of the device's characteristics are very similar to its namesake.

In summary, the Galaxy A51 is composed of a chassis made of polycarbonate that integrates a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen and Full HD + resolution. Samsung has not revealed the processor model, although everything indicates that we are facing the same Exynos 9611 of the Galaxy A51 with 5G connectivity.

Where we do appreciate a substantial improvement is in the amount of RAM available. 6 GB of RAM, compared to 4 GB of the Galaxy A51. Accompanied by 128 GB of internal storage, it has a 4,500 mAh battery, which represents an improvement of 500 mAh compared to its predecessor. This improvement affects the weight and thickness of the terminal: 8.7 millimeters and 187 grams, compared to the 7.9 millimeters and 172 grams of the Galaxy A51.

Regarding the photographic section, the terminal maintains the same four cameras of 48, 12, 5 and 5 megapixels of the Galaxy A51. It has wide-angle and macro lenses, as well as a sensor designed to improve the bokeh of photographs in Portrait mode. The front camera consists of a single 32 megapixel sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G: same specifications except for connectivity

The news that Samsung has presented with the Galaxy A71 5G are somewhat more restrained. In fact, the terminal is identical to its namesake except for 5G connectivity. Otherwise, the phone does not differ at all from the Galaxy A71. 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution, chassis made entirely of polycarbonate, 4,500 mAh battery, 25 W fast charge…

The phone also replicates the camera setup of the original model, with four 64, 12, 5 and 5 megapixel sensors on the rear with the same lens arrangement as the Galaxy A51 5G. The front camera sensor is also replicated, with 32 megapixels and f / 2.2 focal aperture.

As for the technical section of the Galaxy A71, the phone has an eight-core processor along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Again the company has not given many details of the processor model. Since the Snapdragon 730 in the Galaxy A71 does not have 5G, it is likely that you have opted for a model from the house.

Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G

Unfortunately Samsung has not provided information about the date of availability and the price of its two terminals. If we look at the information leaked by Sammobile, the two terminals will go on sale during the summer months at a price of 500 and 600 dollars, which at the change could mean about 460 and 550 dollars respectively.
