After the data about the screen and the processor of the Samsung Galaxy S6 that appeared a few hours ago, this time the next flagship of the South Korean company Samsung has once again starred in a leak related to its fingerprint scanner. According to sources outside this company, the Samsung Galaxy S6 could incorporate a new fingerprint scanner that would present similarities to the scanner currently incorporated by mobile phones such as the iPhone 6. Therefore, we would be talking about a larger and, in principle, more accurate fingerprint reader.
This improvement in the fingerprint scanner would lead to an increase in the size of the Home button on the Samsung Galaxy S6. Therefore, the physical button located under the screen would be notably larger than the button currently incorporated by mobiles such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. In this way, users could unlock the Samsung Galaxy S6 simply by resting their finger on the fingerprint reader, without having to slide it over the Home button, as is currently the case with Samsung's Galaxy range mobiles.
The source of this information points to the American website SamMobile , where they claim to have received a tip from a source they consider "highly credible." This source has confirmed that the new fingerprint reader of the Samsung Galaxy S6 will work in the same way as mobile readers do such as the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Huawei Ascend Mate 7 (in all of them for unlocking the screen is enough to rest your finger on the reader, without having to slide it in any direction).
Despite the fact that Samsung has not yet officially ruled on the Samsung Galaxy S6 - nor will it until its presentation -, today we know a large part of the characteristics with which this smartphone will probably be presented. The new Galaxy S6 Samsung could incorporate a screen 5.5 inches with resolution Quad HD of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a processor Exynos 7420 of eight cores (apparently processor Qualcomm is not up), 3 gigabytes of RAM, 32 / 64/ 128 gigabytes of internal memory, Android 5.0 Lollipop, main camera of 16 megapixels with optical image stabilization and a front camera of five megapixels.
In the event that all goes according to plan, the Samsung Galaxy S6 could be presented at the next MWC 2015 technology event. This event begins on March 2, and until the 5th of the same month we will be able to attend the presentations of the most important companies in the mobile telephony sector. And between these presentations it is expected that both the availability data and the data of the technical specifications of the new Samsung Galaxy S6 will be released.
