The South Korean company Samsung has starred in a new leak through which we have learned that this manufacturer is working on a new mid-range mobile that would incorporate a 64-bit processor. This new smartphone would respond to the name of SM-G530, and the fact that it is going to incorporate a 64-bit processor supposes, mainly, two advantages compared to current processors: greater fluidity and less battery consumption, all of this. without leaving the mid-range.
For now, no specific information has been disclosed in relation to this new Samsung mid-range smartphone, but the leak does detail that this mobile will incorporate a screen that will reach a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels ( while presumably its size will be set between four and five inches). The processor housed inside this mobile will respond to the name of Qualcomm Snapdragon 61x (where " x " will be a serial number that has not yet been released), it will work at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz and it will bea processor with Cortex-A53 ARMv8 cores that offer around fifty percent improvement in fluidity and autonomy compared to the Cortex-A7 (the cores that many of today's mid-range mobiles incorporate).
Although for now the exact date on which this mobile will be officially presented is unknown, everything seems to indicate that at least we will have to wait for the official arrival of Android 5.0 Lemon Meringue Pie (that is, the most recent version of the operating system Android). This version is the first to incorporate compatibility with 64-bit processors, so until Google begins to distribute it officially, neither Samsung nor any other manufacturer will be able to take full advantage of this new generation of processors. In fact, the recently introduced HTC Desire 510 from the Taiwanese company HTC still incorporates a64-bit processor will run at 32-bit until Google releases the Android L update.
Moreover, the technological event IFA 2014 held in the city of Berlin (Germany) between days 5 and 10 September could be the perfect opportunity for Samsung formally present this new mid - range smartphone. Still, the undisputed star of South Koreans for this event will be the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, a new flagship on which we have known so extra-official data such as improved fingerprint reader or the main camera of 16 megapixels. Everything points to the Note 4It will be presented during this event along with other novelties such as, for example, the virtual reality helmet intended precisely for this mobile (and, almost certainly, compatible only with the Note 4).
