After knowing, officially, the delay in the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Fold (after the numerous screen errors that those who tried it for the first time had), we now know that the Korean firm is immersed in bringing, soon, not one more mobile with a flexible screen but two. At the moment, these two terminals are called 'Type G' and 'Type S' and are presented as two variants that start from the system that we already know and that is present in the, for now, postponed Samsung Galaxy Fold.
Two new Samsung Galaxy Fold could be on the way
We are going to stop at the first of the terminals that could be being prepared, known for now as 'Type G'. It is a device that carries an 8-inch screen when fully unfolded, with two sides that could be folded as if they were wings. The next model, 'Type S', would have a huge unfolded size, reaching a 13-inch screen. They carry those letters by name because the shape they would have would have the shape of 'G' and 'S' respectively.
In November of last year, Samsung already presented the patent for the terminal 'Type S', among whose pages you could glimpse the detailed sketches of how this large version of the Samsung Galaxy Fold would look.
It does not seem that the wind is blowing in Samsung's favor when it comes to folding screen terminals. Its first and most recent installment, the Samsung Galaxy Fold, was sent to numerous journalists and specialists of the trade for the first reactions and tests. Some of them unknowingly removed a protective film when they shouldn't have, as it was an essential element for the panel to function properly. And other terminals also failed without any film removal, such as finding strange lumps under the screen or finding a hinge system that did not work as it should. The launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Fold was scheduled for the month of May. Now we will have to wait for the Korean company to solve all the problems of its flexible mobile to be able to enjoy it perfectly.
