Little by little more details are being known about the next updates that the current advanced mobiles with Windows Phone 7.5 will have. At the moment, Nokia and Samsung are the only companies that have made the announcement official and will update their current models. Likewise, the Samsung subsidiary in Italy has unveiled a new feature for its Samsung Omnia W: the ability to share your Internet connection via WiFi, also known as Tethering .
The function Tethering is one of the options that most users demand today. And it is that it offers the possibility of operating a smartphone as a WiFi modem (here we explain how to do it with a Samsung Galaxy S3) and being able to share the contracted data flat rate with another team; that is to say: being able to connect to Internet pages, check e-mail, access documents that are hosted in any cloud-based service, among others, from any compatible equipment, be it a laptop, a tablet or from another mobile advanced. And all this without having to contract another data line.
With the arrival of Windows Phone 7.8, Samsung will include this ability to share wireless connection in one of its models: Samsung Omnia W, one of the terminals that will receive the improvements along with the Samsung Omnia 7. This has become known thanks to the Italian subsidiary of the Korean company that has had some conversations with the WindowsPhoneItaly portal.
Likewise, it is also expected that this model will receive more improvements in the future, although at the moment it is impossible to give an arrival date of the update in this model as in the rest of the manufacturer; According to the company, everything is in the hands of Microsoft and it will be she who decides when to launch the new version to the general public.
On the other hand, in Spain the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 with Windows Phone, aka Samsung ATIV S, is also expected, the company's benchmark with Windows Phone 8 and which has characteristics to be a super seller in its sector; something very similar to what is happening with the Nokia Lumia 920 that is receiving a very good acceptance by the public: the stocks in stores are not lasting many days.
Meanwhile, there is an application that Nokia launched in December 2012. Its name is Nokia Bluetooth Share and it can be downloaded from the platform's application store for free. Of course, at the moment it is only compatible with the Lumia range of the Nordic company, although it is expected that it can be adapted for other mobiles of the current panorama. This feature allows you to share files via this standard wireless connection with other computers.
And it is that since the collaboration between the two companies (Nokia and Microsoft), the manufacturer of advanced mobile phones has contributed different applications to the catalog of the Windows Phone Store "" formerly known as Marketplace "", especially in the field of geopositioning with your Nokia Maps.
