Last February, we learned the news that the Samsung Omnia 7 were having problems updating with the new version of Windows Phone 7. A few weeks later, it seems that this incidence is being more than confirmed. And it is that the Microsoft company has just stopped updating these terminals, with the intention of solving the errors as soon as possible. In fact, since the problems were detected until now there has been no possible solution. The Redmond company has been able to do nothing but recognize it and leave what was one of themost anticipated updates from new Windows Phone 7 users.
Apparently, the problem is the following: when users of Samsung mobile phones (equipped with Windows Phone) are about to update the system, they correctly receive a message via OTA (that is, Over The Air or over the air) that indicates that they will have to do the update through Zune, a program belonging to Microsoft that allows us to manage all the system files and even run the updates. In fact, this is the only way for Windows Phone 7 users to handle internal device files.
Once they are connected to Zune, the system tells them that the phone is already updated, this being a completely uncertain data. And so there is no way to receive the update known as No-Do, the same one that incorporates the copy and paste function to the phones. The thing is that Microsoft has wanted to stop the updates to avoid the problems that the pre-update that launched a few months ago and that served to prepare the terminals before the imminent arrival of the great No-Do update. In any case, users of Samsung devicesthey will have to wait a little longer to receive long awaited changes.
