In terms of performance, the Samsung Nexus S is enormously reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S (not surprisingly, the commercial name of the device draws directly from the high-end of the Korean). In design, the slightly curved design of its housing stands out, which drags a small concave line on the screen, which is a novelty in mobile phones, providing greater ergonomics to the device. Has a panel super AMOLED four inch resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, which provides a density of 235 dots per inch.
The processor that uses the Samsung Nexus S is an ARM Cortex A8, also known as Hummingbird with a GigaHerzio of power, using an internal memory of 16 GB. It is striking that the specifications do not include the option to expand the memory with microSD cards.
The multimedia options focus on the music, images and video player, compatible with the most important formats, although Google does not go through advanced media, such as DivX or MKV, so it is unknown at the moment if they could played on the Samsung Nexus S.
In addition, you will have a camera of five megapixels, but not record in HD 720p format as the highest resolution that contemplates is 720 x 480 pixels. Of course: it does not lack LED flash or front camera for video calls.
In connections, no one is left out. In addition to Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), 3G (using HSDPA and HSUPA, with maximum data upload and download rates of 7.2 and 5.76 MegaBytes per second in theoretical rates) and Bluetooth, the Samsung Nexus S incorporates GPS with assisted function and, as expected, NFC chip for communication functions between devices, such as electronic key or credit card.
Of course, for the NFC function to be operational, the system must include this option. Android 2.3 Gingerbread, in this case, covers the possibility of making purchases and identifying the mobile phone as a payment card.
But it is not the only option he gives of himself. One of the main novelties of Gingerbread points to the VoIP services, coming to offer better resource management when it comes to using this function.
In addition, simplified interface, making it more versatile, comfortable, intuitive and efficient, as this also involves better treatment of the battery, which you 'll notice that the best managed system, obtaining greater autonomy. Aspects such as the keyboard have also been polished, which now distances the keys a little more from each other. This, along with improvements in multi-touch detection, makes the writing process faster and smoother.
