Samsung's sales continue to increase. This is confirmed by the numbers that come from the, until now, flagship Samsung Galaxy S3. The Asian company has already managed to sell more than 50 million units worldwide since it went on sale last year 2012. What's more, in a couple of months they have managed to increase the figure by 10 million units.
Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 are two of the best sellers in recent months: the first of them for being the benchmark in the Android terminal sector; the second for being the most powerful hybrid to date that is indicated, especially, for a more professional sector with more demanding needs.
According to the president of Samsung himself in an interview with The Wall Street Journal , since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on the market they have managed to sell 50 million units. In addition, according to the Unwired View portal, just two months ago, the figure reached 40 million units. So it only took two months to reach 10 million more sales worldwide.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S3 will continue to be a current model: after the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S4 in New York on March 14, some leaders of the Korean company held talks with different media. And in one of the interviews it was commented that some functions of the new terminal would reach the Premium product range; models like the protagonist of the story or the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
To all this should be added that shortly Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is expected to make an appearance on some of the company's smartphones. This is the version that the Samsung Galaxy S4 has already installed and that could be seen in operation during the presentation a few days ago. And it was found that it comes loaded with news, as far as new functions are concerned.
However, this is not the only front opened by the Korean giant. And it is that the president himself JK Shin confirmed to the media that this same year he would be chosen to launch the first smartphone under a new mobile platform: Tizen. But beware, this terminal will not be pigeonholed within the entry range or the mid-range, on the contrary: it will belong to the high range of the catalog.
The first smartphone with Tizen "" platform that will have other travel companions such as Vodafone or Huawei "", is planned to reach stores between the months of August or September of this year. And as the head of Samsung hinted, this new team will come loaded with the latest technology of the moment. Furthermore, it is already known that the mobile platform will be capable of working with high-speed mobile networks or connecting to other terminals or accessories through NFC technology, which has become so fashionable in recent times.
