We say this because it is an ultra resistant device, with IP68 certification and MIL-STD 810G military certification, characteristics necessary to keep it safe in situations in which there are adverse and / or extreme conditions. Designed for risk
Although at first glance it is not a very beautiful mobile, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S is one of those phones developed to withstand shocks and falls of all kinds. Its corners are specially protected with rubber, as are the buttons located under the panel. In this way, if we fall off the bike when practicing sports, or from the motorcycle, we will not run the risk of finding it totally useless. But in addition, the XCover 4S has passed resistance tests according to the standards of the United States Army, with the guarantee that it can withstand any extreme conditions to which it is exposed, be it heat or cold.
There is no lack of IP68 certification, so it is also resistant to water and dust. It can be immersed in water for half an hour up to a meter deep.
Inside the Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S there is room for an Exynos 7885 processor, an eight-core chip running at a speed of 1.6 GHz. This is accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and a storage of 32 GB (expandable through the use of memory cards). microSD type up to 512 GB). It is, therefore, a tight set, although more than enough to work with current applications or to make use of several processes simultaneously.
On a photographic level, the XCover 4S includes a single 16-megapixel main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture, as well as a 5-megapixel front sensor with f / 2.2 aperture, quite discreet for selfies.
