It had been rumored for several weeks and today it finally becomes official. Samsung has just launched its new tablet, which is called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e. It does so with a host of features and a design that will make it compete with this year's iPad 2019. To this is added its price, which is around 400 dollars (Samsung has not disclosed its price in Spain), standing halfway between the Tab S4 of more than 600 euros and the Tab A 10.5 of 300.

Design and screen that remind us of the iPad Pro
The fashion of reduced frames has also reached tablets. The iPad Pro was the first model on the market to reduce both its top and bottom frames. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e integrates a design very similar to that of the aforementioned device, with an invariable thickness throughout its frames.
To this we must add the proportion of its screen, which consists of 10.5 inches and a ratio of 16:10 somewhat more square than the traditional 16: 9. Regarding the latter, we find a Super AMOLED panel with WQXGA resolution halfway between 4K and 2K.

Photographic section without pain or glory
We currently know little or nothing about the cameras. The company has only provided details about the resolution of its two front and rear sensors.
Specifically, we find a 13 megapixel camera on the back with 4K recording capacity at 30 FPS. The front of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e consists of a single 8 megapixel sensor that in the absence of confirmation, you will perform the facial unlocking functions, since we do not find a physical fingerprint sensor.
The rest of the data such as the focal aperture or the size of the pixels are still a mystery, as we just mentioned.
Qualcomm processor and Samsung DeX support
The performance section is surely the most interesting of this Samsung tablet. For 400 euros we find a processor signed by Qualcomm. Specifically, the Snapdragon 670 along with 4 and 6 GB of RAM and 64 and 128 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded by micro SD cards up to 512 GB.
But without a doubt, what makes the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e stand out the most is because it is compatible with Samsung DeX as standard, Samsung's proprietary software that allows the system interface to be transformed to that of an entire desktop operating system, with windows and virtual desktops. To do this, it integrates a USB type C 3.1 connection thanks to which we can connect external monitors and all kinds of elements, either through a dedicated cable or by using a USB hub.
Along with the tablet, the company has presented a series of accessories aimed at improving productivity. Book cover Keyboard, POGO Charging Dock, Slim cover and Book cover. Not many details of these have been given. What is certain is that they will not be included with the tablet. For the rest, we find four speakers signed by AKG, dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth version 5.0.
Battery with more than 14 hours of autonomy and fast charge
Along with the performance section, autonomy and its charging technology are the most notable virtues of this Tab S5e.
In technical data, we find a 7,040 mAh battery and Quick Charge 4+ technology. This results in an autonomy of 14 and a half hours, according to the manufacturer's data. The data about the loading speed has not been provided.
Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e in Spain
It will be from April when we can buy the S5e in Spain. Although the price has not been confirmed in Europe, we know that in the United States it will be priced starting at $ 400. In Spain the price could be 449 euros.
