Information about the tablet from Samsung comes as would a good lover: without pause, but without haste. Little by little we get more unofficial data from that little gadget that some have already dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but which other sources call Samsung Tape. Added to the "confirmed" information that it would incorporate an AMOLED panel is added the rumor that it would point to a Super AMOLED screen, which would also measure seven inches (a standard size for an electronic book reader).
The panel would present a good resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, which in principle makes the Samsung Galaxy Tab or Samsung Tape a strong candidate for playing HD videos on a range of 720p. In addition, it would incorporate a processor that would support this theory, thanks to its 1.2 GHz of power from a chip from the manufacturer ARM: we would talk about the Cortex A8 that Samsung uses in mobiles like the Samsung Wave.
As it is inevitable to make comparisons between this Samsung Galaxy Tab or Samsung Tape and Apple's iPad, we will have to say that the unofficial information on this tablet points to an internal memory comparable to that of the basic model of the Cupertino gadget: 16 GigaBytes of capacity. For some, this storage limit may fall short, although if we conceive the projection of the device as that of a mobile, it should not be so scarce (especially if we consider that it can be expanded with microSD memory cards).
And we don't mean the " mobile phone " character of the Samsung Galaxy Tab or Samsung Tape by chance. The operating system that this tablet would incorporate would be Android, most likely in its version 2.2 (baptized as Froyo), using Samsung's TouchWix 3.0 user interface. If this data is true, I wanted to rule out the possibility of using Bada as a preferential platform in the Samsung Galaxy Tab or Samsung Tape.
