Where two fit, three fit. This is how they must have thought from the Korean Samsung, which is not content with certifying the presence of two models of its Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, they have just announced (as pointed out by the Korean site Yonhapnews) that next March they could join a new model to the range.
It would be an edition halfway between the one that we can buy in stores today (with a seven-inch screen) and the version that was presented on February 13, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, with a panel that marks its size precisely with the name of the model. Thus, the new Galaxy Tab would be characterized by having an 8.9-inch screen, thus expanding the range of possibilities for all tastes.
What has not been known is the version of Android that will integrate that model. Most likely (and possible) it is the platform that Google has designed specifically for tablets, Android 3.0 Honeycomb, although there is no absolute certainty at this point.
As for the launch date of the new tablet, the source of the information ventures that it would be in summer when Samsung would try to make its August with the new Samsung Galaxy Tab with 8.9-inch screen. What is a complete unknown is the price that the new device could have, something that could be highly determined by the cost that the company puts the larger edition that was shown last week.
