It is called Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and as you already know, it is the tablet with which the Korean Samsung completes its trident of personal screens for all tastes and sizes. Oriented compete directly with the iPad 2 has a screen of nearly nine inches, as far reads the name of the model, which has a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels.
This Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 Honeycomb, although with a peculiarity: the user interface has been customized. As the promised, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is very thin, with only 8.6 millimeters thick (chest out before the iPad 2 and 8.8 millimeters, as you can imagine) and lighter: 470 grams guarantee the lightness of this device.
Despite everything, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is also powerful. Very powerful. It equips a dual-core processor with one GHz per core (the now famous Tegra 2 from NVIDIA). At the moment, it is unknown if it will have a dedicated graphics unit (which is very likely, although not confirmed) or the power of its camera system. However, you just have to keep some patience, since today the device will be presented during the CTIA fair held in the North American city of Orlando.
