Do you have a Samsung Galaxy mobile with call problems? If your mobile is low when making a call, you have entered the indicated site. It could be a problem with an easy solution or a hardware error, which would cause the warranty to be processed if it is available. Here we show what causes this problem and the different solutions.
In the different Samsung forums and on Galaxy phones, I have been able to verify that many users have errors when making calls. Mainly with the sound. The user does not hear properly with the headset for calls. On the other hand, if you select the speaker, you can hear it. This can be due to different causes and must be discarded until the problem is solved. If after these steps you still do not hear the calls with the upper earpiece, the one on the front and we place ourselves on the ear, you will have to follow the warranty processing steps or take it to the technical service.
First, clean the headset. Samsung mobiles have a small speaker on the front, in the upper area. This has a very low sound that is only heard in calls, since it is the one that we close to our ear. The earphone may be dusty and this is causing the sound problems. To clean it, use a disposable toothbrush and clean the headset to remove any dust and dirt that may have embedded. Do a gentle cleaning, as the loudspeaker mesh may break. Check if calls are heard correctly
Check the volume of the device. Make sure the loudspeaker for calls is turned up to maximum so you can hear properly. This speaker is modified from the system settings or when we are making a call. To increase the earpiece volume, go to Settings> Sound and vibration> Volume. Check that the system volume, melody and multimedia are at least 50 percent. You can also do it during the call: when you are on a call adjust the sound by pressing the volume + button up to the maximum.
Problems listening to calls on a Samsung mobile
If the problem has not yet been solved, check that there is no third-party app on your terminal to record calls or make voice notes. These apps could use the headset and interfere with the sound. If you have any app, uninstall it and see if it works. Otherwise, you can download the applications again if you think they are useful for your mobile.
Have you wet your phone recently? Some Samsung phones, like the S9 + or the Galaxy S10, are resistant to water and dust. However, the system may disable some functions when it detects some moisture on external components, such as the USB connector, the headphone connector, or the speaker. If you have recently wet your mobile, check that these holes are completely dry, as they could be deactivated because there is still some moisture. You can use a cloth to dry it or blow it lightly. Using a dryer is not recommended, as you could damage the components.
Update your mobile. It is likely that the sound failure is due to an error or bug in the system. The South Korean company updates its devices monthly in order to add security patches and fix minor system problems. If you have a version available, update.
If you continue without hearing the calls, you will have to take your mobile for repair. You can contact Samsung technical support from here. If your phone has a warranty, you should not pay for the repair, but it depends on the Samsung repair policy.
