Samsung galaxy s3 starts receiving android 4.1 in europe
The update to Android 4.1 of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is getting closer and closer. The official version has started to be launched in Europe. And Poland is the first country to receive it. In Spain, for the moment, we will have to continue waiting for Samsung to decide to offer the update to Jelly Bean of its terminals. However, you have to think that the South Korean company commented, during the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, that the month of October would be the indicated date.
Samsung has anticipated the date it gave in its last public presentation. And it is that the Asian manufacturer has got down to work and position itself as one of the first to officially launch the update of its devices with Google icons. About a month ago, a ROM leaked that could be installed, manually with the Odin program, on the Samsung Galaxy S3. However, this leak was nothing more than a version that had yet to mature in some aspects.
With the launch of Samsung in Poland, Spanish users will be able to follow the same steps as a month ago: use Odin to install the update. What's more, within the package, the Spanish language is supported. Although yes, the customer should bear in mind that using Odin is not the same as Samsung Kies. With the latter, things are simpler.
Still, October is just around the corner. So the European countries "" Spain included "" could officially receive Android 4.1 on their terminals. On the other hand, another of the novelties of these days, is that Samsung has also commented on which smartphones in its catalog will receive the expected update.
First of all, the already mentioned Samsung Galaxy S2 or Samsung Galaxy Note are within the list of supported phones. Although there will be other models that follow the same fate: Samsung Galaxy S Advance, Samsung Galaxy Beam, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, Samsung Galaxy Mini 2, Samsung Galaxy S Duos or the Samsung Galaxy Chat.
But here it is not all, and it is that the sector of the touch tablets has also been mentioned. The models chosen to receive Jelly Bean are the following: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. All these models "" smartphones and tablets "" will have their dose of the new icons, although the launch date is still unknown.
From SamMobile they have been able to test the version launched in Poland. And for this they have recorded a video demonstration of how the Samsung Galaxy S3 behaves with its new integration. What will surprise the user the most, once the update is installed, is that the fluidity of operation is superior to previous versions. And this is thanks to the integration of the Butter Project ”” butter in English ””.
While the second most outstanding novelty is the inclusion of the function baptized under the name of Google Now: a personal assistant that will work, side by side, with the user's event schedule to provide useful "" and detailed "" information that can be of interest to the client at those times.
