Samsung continues to work on more mobiles under Google's mobile platform (Android). And it is very likely that the almighty Samsung Galaxy S2 already has its improved version: the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus. This has been seen in the results of a performance test, where it can be seen that in this case it is an advanced terminal with a 1.5 GHz frequency processor; Samsung Galaxy S2 has a processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz.
Samsung Galaxy S3 will not be present this month in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress 2012 celebration. This has been confirmed by Samsung. However, it is very possible that new terminals will appear instead. In addition to new tablets such as the possible Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.6, it would also be feasible to see an improved Samsung Galaxy S2 or, as it is already known: a Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus.
This technique is not the first time that the Asian manufacturer has used it. An example of this is the first mobile phone in the Samsung Galaxy S family, whose versions have been appearing on the market since it was presented to the public in 2010. The most recent version is the Samsung Galaxy S Advance. Thus, this Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus would be a mobile with the same appearance as the model that is sold now, although with more power.
In the first place, the processor would have a higher working frequency: 1.5 GHz. In addition, and according to some tests carried out, it can be noted that the power consumption of the new processor - which is called Samsung Exynos 4212 - is much lower than the current version. On the other hand, in the information that has been revealed, the version of the operating system that will be used is also shown. And, contrary to what you might think, it would still use Android Gingerbread instead of Android 4.0.
