After reaping success everywhere, the Korean firm Samsung is already thinking of giving the second round. We refer to the arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy S2 or Samsung i9200, the direct descendant of a mobile phone that has succeeded like few others: the Samsung Galaxy S. Rumors are the order of the day. And it is that the Korean company could have agreed to leave the Samsung Galaxy S2 with Google, so that the device was the first to come out equipped with Android 3.0, the version that is also known as Gingerbread. According to all speculations, theSamsung Galaxy S2 could be one of the most promising launches of this coming year.
The fact is that at this point, just when the Samsung Galaxy S is reaching the top, some data from the technical sheet of this new terminal has already come to light. As we announced at the beginning, the Samsung Galaxy S2 stands out especially for having the new Android 3.0 operating system, although it has other equally interesting features. A tech-level fanatic's delight. We refer to the fact incorporate a Super AMOLED 2 screen of 4.3 inches and a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, and a density 340ppp. This is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated benefits, in Samsung's commitment to level panels.
But there is much more. There is talk of a powerful 2 GHz processor (although it is yet to be specified whether it would be single or dual core). Inside: 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of ROM. The internal capacity of the phone also responds: we would be facing 32 GB of internal storage that could be expanded with miroSD cards of up to 32 GB more. For the occasion, Samsung would have chosen a camera up to eight megapixels and the possibility eye here, to record video at 1080p.
In connectivity it is not short either. It incorporates Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n and A-GPS. As additional complements we can mention the accelerometer, the gyroscope or the proximity sensor, elements that will help us greatly in the orientation of the phone's screen, as well as speed up our daily use. The fact is that Samsung has not yet made official statements or said anything about the new Samsung Galaxy S2. It is expected, however, that the terminal may be available during the first quarter of next year 2011.
