The Korean company Samsung seeks to reissue the sales of the first and very successful version, which in 2010 alone managed to convince more than ten million customers. It is not an easy task, but certainly a dazzling path has begun that anticipates exceeding that mark.
While it begins to reach the different national operators (in Spain it is expected that it can be purchased from this week on Vodafone, Movistar, Orange and Yoigo) and begins its international career as a free mobile, the first sales data arrive.
And you can be a prophet in your own land, and if not, just take a look at the sales of the Samung Galaxy S II in South Korea: in its first month it has already registered the first million units sold, which seems like the launch with the best commercial acceptance in the Asian region. And that, of course, is not saying little…
Since the Samung Galaxy S II was released on April 29 in South Korea, this terminal has managed to sell at a higher rate than its successful predecessor did, which took almost two more weeks to reach the first million terminals sold in the country where it was born.
Although it has certainly been news that has caused several bottles of champagne to be uncorked at Samsung offices, the data has not been surprising. Just take a look at the sales rate. And it is that in just over two weeks, the Samung Galaxy S II had already managed to convince more than half a million users who had already bought their Android mobile with a Samsung Exynos processor, which anticipates a very agile and accelerated sales rate.
For the moment, Samsung does not throw the bells to the flight, and avoids revising its forecasts of sale to the rise, reason why the objective continues being to register ten million units sold for its mobile flagship of this year. However, the excellent evaluations from professionals and the public, added to the fact that the popularity of Android already places this segment as a real alternative to the very famous iPhone, suggests that Samsung's expectations could be far exceeded. Do you think these forecasts could be exceeded?
