The Korean Samsung does not want to sit idly by. And that is why a new rumor has jumped onto the scene. Apparently, Asian sources have reported a new more powerful model of the current flagship of the manufacturer: Samsung Galaxy S II. As was the case with the first model, Samsung Galaxy S, after a few months on the market, several models with different characteristics emerged, such as: Samsung Galaxy S Plus or Samsung Galaxy S SCL.
The new model that is speculated could be Samsung Galaxy S II Plus. A version with a new processor, a new version of the Android operating system and a user interface designed to implement improvements to the Google icons. The best? Is that this new advanced Samsung mobile would be ready for the months of August or September.
As reported by Popherald, this new Samsung Galaxy S II Plus would come to compete directly with the rumored iPhone 5, whose launch is set for next September and that would provide a more powerful processor and the new iOS 5 that was already presented a few weeks by Steve Jobs. Therefore, the dates indicated on the new Samsung Galaxy S II Plus would be unfounded in the launch of the new Apple mobile.
On the other hand, the processor that would be included in this new Plus version of the Samsung smartphone would be based on the Samsung Exynos dual-core platform and would go from the current 1.2 GHz speed to 1.4 GHz. On the other hand, the RAM memory would continue to be one GB and the Android version that would be included would be Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread; the same one that Nexus S users already enjoy.
