We have not known anything about dual screen phones for a long time, that is, that type of phone that boasts two screens to display content. We are not referring exclusively to the devices shell type, or clamshell , offering a small panel when the computer is closed and another wider when we open it. We are talking about smartphones, that is, smart phones, a category that this year expands its concept with the so-called tabletphones and that, by virtue of the opinion of South Korean Samsung, can also be extended in the direction of dual-screen phones.
And it is that through Phone Arena we have learned of the existence of a device, the Samsung GT-B9150, which would supposedly reach the market as Samsung Galaxy Q, and whose identity is based precisely on a dual screen. This Samsung Galaxy Q would be one of the new equipment that the Asian company would show at the Mobile World Congress 2013, which will take place between February 25 and 28, but which in the previous days will already have the presence of the main manufacturers. So much so that Samsung has already scheduled its intervention for Sunday , February 24, at which time many of the novelties that the manufacturer reserves for this year will be revealed, among which this Samsung Galaxy Q is postulated as one of the candidates to see the light.
Technically, the Samsung Galaxy Q is very interesting. As we have learned, the double screen would have a FullHD resolution, that is, 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is important to take a look at this: the dual panel is actually a single surface, which allows folding thanks to the flexible screen technology that Samsung has been bragging about for several months, but which until now has not materialized in a terminal.
The processor, meanwhile, would be a dual-core at 1.7 GHz, which guarantees a very interesting performance, especially if we consider that the supposed Samsung Galaxy Q would also install a two GB RAM. The multimedia plane would count in its eight and two megapixel camera combo, depending on whether you look at the rear and front sensor, respectively. Another point of interest is in the operating system: the Samsung Galaxy Q would be ready to work from day one with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, Google's most advanced platform for smartphones.
Finally, there would also transcended the type of battery that we would see the Samsung Galaxy Q. In this sense, it will be a unit of no less than 3,100 milliamps that feeds the activity of this curious device that, as has been proposed, would go on sale at the beginning of this year, so its launch could take place just after the closing of the aforementioned mobile fair that will take place at the end of this month. As for the price that would have been raised, it is still unknown today.
