Samsung's hybrid terminal has received an update. It is the Samsung Galaxy Note, a mix between a smartphone and a touch tablet. Although the manufacturer itself has already officially commented that this model will receive the new Android 4.0, the update that it has received has nothing to do with the icon system that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus presents.
However, there have been some interesting and noteworthy improvements. In the first place, the virtual keyboard with four lines has now become one of five, always having the numbers visible in the upper row and as if it were a conventional keyboard. Thus, the user will avoid having to press the punctuation key at all times.
In addition, as many times you will try to use the terminal with one hand, the owner of the Samsung mobile / tablet will be able to move to the right or to the left, both the numeric keypad of the phone and the QWERTY keyboard when it is in the vertical position. In this way, it will be easier to press the keys with your thumb and knowing that the 5.3 inches are not comfortable to use with one hand.
On the other hand, and as theunwired media comments , the lock screen has also received an improvement and is very much in line with the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Note. And the fact is that the unlock padlock symbol has grown in size and, for first-time Android users, Samsung has placed some indicative arrows that point to the exact side to which you have to move your finger so that the equipment is unlocked.
Meanwhile, the terminal screen of the Korean manufacturer can also be used as a flashlight. A small access has been added where the brightness of the panel can be adjusted up to three levels. Finally, the browser can also adjust its brightness independently of the other applications. That is, you can achieve even lower levels and adapt to any situation.
Meanwhile, for Android 4.0 you still have to wait a bit. Samsung has already confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note, among others, were the lucky models that would receive it. Of course, without giving any specific date and informing that it would be throughout this first four-month period.
