Samsung Galaxy Note 2 could appear this coming August. And more and more technical details are being known before it is officially presented. Now, after leaking some performance tests, it is known that its processor, although it will be the same model that the Samsung Galaxy S3 currently uses, will have an even higher operating frequency.
According to the latest information, next August 15, Samsung plans to carry out a new presentation of a terminal of the Galaxy family. Everything indicates that this smartphone could be the next generation of the first hybrid of the South Korean company, also known as Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
Similarly, a few weeks ago, it was also commented that its official presentation would take place one day before the IFA 2.012 technology fair, which is held in the German city of Berlin, began. To be more specific, the date that was being considered for the celebration of a Samsung Unpacked event was for August 30.
While it continues to talk about its possible arrival in the markets, the latest information has concluded that the processor of this Samsung Galaxy Note 2 would be the same model that currently equips the Samsung Galaxy S3; a quad-core model that operates at a frequency of 1.4 GHz. However, after the performance tests that have been leaked, the processor that will carry the new Asian hybrid would work at a frequency of 1.6 GHz. Of course, all this information has not been confirmed by the company. The only thing that has been speculated is that if the current Samsung Galaxy Note has the technical name Samsung GT N-7000, the tests that have been shown correspond to a model called Samsung GT-7100.
The same happened when the previous models came to the fore: The Samsung Galaxy S2 equips a dual-core processor with a working frequency of 1.2 GHz; meanwhile, his older brother ”” the Samsung Galaxy Note ”” was presented in partnership with the same dual-core processor but running at 1.4 GHz.
On the other hand, the idea is still continued that the design will follow in the wake of the current flagship: the third generation of the successful Samsung Galaxy S family that appeared on the market in 2010. Of course, the design will have to be added the possibility of using a pointer or stylus that helps the client to be able to operate the smartphone or mini-tablet without using the fingers.
On the other hand, there has also been talk for some time about the characteristics of the screen that will equip the new model. In this case, it would go from having a 5.3-inch screen of the original model to the 5.5-inch screen of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Of course, it would continue to bet on a screen resolution that reached HD quality (1,280 x 800 pixels). Lastly, the panel would use SuperAMOLED Plus HD technology. That is, the same technology used by the Samsung Galaxy S2 would be introduced in this model.
