- And the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro?
Although there is still a little more than two months for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 to be officially presented, today we already know some of its main characteristics. This morning, what is supposed to be the final design of the device, with three cameras and a single front camera in the form of a hole in the screen, was leaked. Along with this, a new version will arrive in the form of a superior model with the name of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro. What do we know about the two devices so far? We see it below.
Design inspired by the Galaxy S10 +
The design of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 that we know to date has the same lines as the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Specifically, the terminal has a body made of glass whose differences with respect to the S series are based on the location of the rear cameras, which in this case are located on the left side of the terminal, and the shape of the device, somewhat more square than the Galaxy S10.
It should be noted, on the other hand, the integration of the fingerprint sensor on the screen and the location of the front camera in the center of the upper part of the screen. The latter, by the way, could have a size of 6.3 inches with the usual Quad HD + resolution of the Galaxy Note and Dynamic AMOLED technology.
Unfortunately, we will not have a headphone jack connection, something that had characterized the Note range to date. What we do hope to find is an expansion tray for micro SD cards, as well as for the dual SIM.
Hardware slightly superior to the Galaxy S10 with some surprises
For the first time in the history of Samsung, the Galaxy Note range will have different hardware than the Galaxy S Plus on duty.
Specifically, the Galaxy Note 10 will base its hardware on an Exynos 9825 processor (Snapdragon 855 in the American version). The difference between the latter and the current Exynos 9820 is based on the 5G module, which will be incorporated into all versions of the Galaxy Note 10.
For the rest, Samsung's high-end will start from 8 GB of RAM and a storage capacity that could range between 128 and 512 GB, expandable by micro SD cards up to 1 TB. It is not ruled out that the internal memory bases its technology on the new UFS 3.0 standard.
Same cameras as the Galaxy S10 +
In the section of the cameras few are the surprises that we expect from the new Samsung between now and August. In fact, everything looks like it will have the same sensors as the Galaxy S10 +.
Specifically, the Galaxy Note 10 will have the following cameras:
- 12 megapixel main sensor, variable aperture from f / 1.5 to f / 2.4 and OIS and EIS stabilization
- Secondary sensor with 12 megapixel telephoto lens, f / 2.4 focal aperture and OIS stabilization
- Tertiary sensor with 123º ultra wide angle lens, 16 megapixels, focal aperture f / 2.2 and OIS stabilization
As for the front camera, it is expected that its specifications will mimic those of the rest of the S series models, with a 10 megapixel sensor and focal aperture f / 1.9.
The largest battery ever seen in a Samsung mobile
Nothing less than 4,500 mAh, or at least this is confirmed by the recent leaks of the terminal. It is unknown if this battery will belong to the Pro model or the base model, although everything indicates that it will belong to the latter.
The battery of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, meanwhile, could range between 4,000 and 4,500 mAh. The main difference between the two terminals, beyond the capacity of the battery, will start from the fast charging technology. Up to 25 W on the Galaxy Note 10 and up to 45 W on the Pro model, one of the fastest ever for a mobile phone.
Same price as Galaxy Note 9
Precisely today what is supposed to be the price of the official Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has been leaked.
Specifically, the price of the Galaxy Note 10 will start at 1,100 and 1,200 dollars respectively, which at the change in euros could mean a value between those same values in dollars, when making a 1: 1 conversion.
And the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro?
We have already seen the main features of the Galaxy Note 10, what about the Galaxy Note 10 Pro? The latest leaks reveal that it will be an improved version of the Galaxy Note 10.
First of all, the size of its screen will amount to 6.7 inches, the same Quad HD + resolution of the base model of 3,040 x 1,440 pixels. In the same front part we expect to find, in addition, a double front camera located in the central part of the terminal and some frames even more used than the base version.
As for the hardware of the terminal, the main difference with the Galaxy Note 10 could be found in the processor, opting for the 9825 with 5G instead of the 9820 that will most likely reach the Note 10 to differentiate the user range from the professional range.
Also RAM and ROM memory will be increased significantly, with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage weighing up to 1 TB of maximum capacity in UFS 3.0.
Regarding the photographic section, everything indicates that it will integrate the same cameras as the Galaxy Note 10, with the exception of a fourth ToF sensor with 3D Depth technology to measure the depth of objects and improve the results in portrait mode photographs. The front camera, meanwhile, will have the same two sensors as the Galaxy S10, with two 10 and 8 megapixel sensors and focal aperture f / 1.9 and f / 2.2. The same as the Galaxy S10 +.
For the rest, the Galaxy Note 10 Pro is expected to have the same characteristics as the base Note 10, except for the battery, which could be extended to 4,500 mAh.
And the price? Here we already enter the terrain of conspiracy. Logic dictates that it could start at 1,400 euros in Spain, nothing unreasonable if we take into account the price of the competition, as is the case with the iPhone XS Max.
