For a few months it has been rumored that Samsung is working on new large equipment. What's more, one of the accessories of the new Samsung Galaxy S4 showed that the company was working on a 6.3-inch terminal. Yet another possibility jumped onto the stage: a 5.8-inch rig. This led to the talk of a possible new Samsung phablet , the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But, apparently, the company is thinking of baptizing these new teams with another name: Mega.
Samsung's catalog continues to grow: the next launch is expected this week, and it could be the mini version of the Samsung Galaxy S4. However, all attention is focused on what the Korean company can launch in a few months. It is a new ”” or new ”” terminal, which would complete the family of hybrids that began the year 2011 with the Samsung Galaxy Note and that has been growing, the last member being the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0.
But from the SamMobile portal they have echoed what could be the beginning of a new series of phablets "" a mix between smartphone and tablet "". From the portal they comment that Samsung would have decided to give this family another name and would be renamed Samsung Galaxy Mega. What's more, there are two models, according to rumors, which are scheduled for week 22 of this year and week 25.
The first of them would have a 5.8-inch screen, while the second launch would have a somewhat larger size and would be powerfully close to a tablet. This would reach 6.3 inches, as could be seen in the Game Pad of the Samsung Galaxy S4. The little that is known of both are the colors in which they will be available. The first in white, while the second would be available in black and white.
In addition, the code names have also been leaked and one of them could be a model with the possibility of using two SIM cards. This is known internally as Samsung GT-i9152, while the largest model would be the Samsung GT-i9200. Little else has been known so far.
But, seeing what the next flagship offers, conclusions can be drawn. The screens could have a Full HD resolution, a very widespread feature in other companies and that seems the trend of the year. Nor should we forget the power. And it is that the Korean is the first to offer the first smartphone with an eight-core processor on the market. So these new models could follow in the wake. Or, at the very least, include a quad-core processor.
Finally, Android will continue to be the operating system that Samsung is betting on. And Android 4.2 is the latest option the company is working on. But beware, Tizen is another option that could come to light in the coming weeks. One of the company's spokespersons assured that this year 2013 the first smartphone with this icon system would be seen, and that it would belong to the high-end of the catalog.
