It was an open secret and today it is finally made official. The Samsung Galaxy M4o has just been launched in India. The terminal arrives to complete the M range presented by Samsung throughout this 2019, with the Samsung Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M20 at the helm. Triple camera, island-shaped notch and Snapdragon 675 processor are some of the main features of the fourth iteration of Samsung's M series. Will it be able to differentiate itself from the rest of mid-range mobiles? We see it.

Design: a stretched Samsung Galaxy S10 without a headphone jack
This year Samsung has decided to implement the same design lines in most of the mid-range, mid-high and high-end models, and the Samsung Galaxy M40 was not going to be less.
With a body made of polycarbonate with a glass finish and an island-shaped notch that houses the front camera, the Galaxy M40 consists of a 6.3-inch screen with Full HD + resolution and IPS technology.
The latter forces Samsung's mid-range to place the fingerprint sensor at the rear, which is accompanied by a triple sensor with multiple lenses. Regarding the percentage of use of the front surface, the Galaxy M40 reaches the figure of 91.8%, according to data provided by Samsung.
But perhaps the most famous absence of the phone is found on one of the sides. And it is that unfortunately, Samsung has decided to suppress the jack connection for the headphones. The only physical connection we have is based on the USB type C that the mobile incorporates.
Snapdragon processor and memory for everything and everyone
As we anticipated in the headline, the Galaxy M40 uses a Snapdragon 675 processor accompanied by no less than 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage expandable up to 512 GB through micro SD cards.
The rest of the features consist of a 3,500 mAh battery, fast charging compatible with 18 W chargers, dual-band WiFi, NFC and Bluetooth in its fifth version.
Triple camera with wide angle lens
Samsung's bet this year is clear. Like the Galaxy A70, the Samsung Galaxy M4o has three 32-, 8- and 5-megapixel cameras with wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
The focal aperture of each of these is made up of f / 1.7, f / 2.2 and f / 2.2, and the gradual opening of the wide-angle lens has no less than 123º.
As for the front camera, it uses a single 16-megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 focal aperture.
Price and availability in Spain
The phone has just been launched in India and has yet to be confirmed in Spain. Its price, at the change, is about 256 euros. Upon arrival in Europe, this same price could increase to 279 and even 299 euros.
