Samsung's Galaxy M range is a very good option for those looking for a battery in a mobile. Samsung has some Galaxy M models for sale in Spain, and the most interesting are the Galaxy 21 and Galaxy M31. Both are very similar mobiles, with the same screen, battery and performance. There are only a few differences in price, camera, and memory configuration. Which one is more worth buying? We review both models to see which one best suits your needs.
For games and multimedia, which is better?
Both models have the same screen. Also with the same processor. The difference is in the RAM configuration. The Samsung Galaxy M21 has 4 GB of RAM, while the Galaxy M31 goes up to 6 GB of RAM in its highest version. This allows us to have a little more performance in the M31, and we are going to notice it especially in games that require more power and when navigating the system. Of course, the difference is not enormous, so if you do not usually play a lot or you are a user who does not use the mobile intensively, you will not notice much difference.
For those looking for a good camera
One of the main differences between the two models is in the camera. The Samsung Galaxy M21 has a good photographic section, but the M31 is slightly superior. For starters, this latest model has a 64-megapixel main lens with an f / 2.0 aperture. It also has a second 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, as well as a 5 MP macro sensor and another for depth of field with 5-megapixel resolution.
On the other hand, the Galaxy M21 only has a triple lens. The macro sensor is removed. It also changes the main camera with 48 megapixels instead of 64 and a focal aperture f / 2.0, and not f / 1.8.
The Galaxy M31 camera is slightly superior, so if you prioritize the camera on a mobile and don't mind paying a little more, maybe the Galaxy M31 is a good option. Furthermore, in the analysis it proved to offer very good results.
Price is important
Same 6,000 mA h battery, same charging speed, same screen and same processor. However, the differences in the RAM configuration and in the photographic section make the Galaxy M31 have a higher price. And here comes the dilemma: considering that there are not so many differences, which one compensates more?
The Samsung Galaxy M21 is priced at 230 euros. The Samsung Galaxy M31 costs 280 in its most powerful version. That is, the difference between the two is 50 euros. It's really not that much, so the Galaxy M31 is more worth buying for its better front camera and that macro sensor that can give a lot of play. In addition to the 6 GB of RAM that will help us continue with the good performance even in a few years.
However, if your budget is tighter you can go without any problem for the Galaxy M21. You will save those 50 euros that you can save or spend on accessories for your mobile, and you will hardly notice differences in the main sections. Especially on the screen and autonomy, which in both cases are excellent.
