Samsung's Galaxy M range is already taking shape. The South Korean company has presented different models with outstanding specifications in each of them. The Samsung Galaxy M40 is the latest and most interesting for its attractive design and triple camera. But… what about the M20, M10 and M30? We review all its characteristics and see which one is the most suitable for each user.
Samsung Galaxy M10, the cheapest
The Samsung Galaxy M10 is the cheapest terminal. It has a price of only 110 euros to change. Of course, its specifications are somewhat more basic. It has a 6.2-inch screen with an HD resolution and IPS technology. Inside we find an Exynos 7870 processor with 2 or 3 GB of RAM, as well as a range of 3,400 mAh, which also includes fast charging.
This m10 has a double sensor on its rear. The main camera is 13 megapixels and it also has a second 5 megapixel camera with wide angle. The selfie camera is also 5 megapixels, but it doesn't have such a wide angle.
The terminal has not been put on sale in Spain. However, it can be purchased in some online stores for about 110 - 130 euros. This device is a good option for those users who are looking for a cheap mobile for day to day.
Samsung Galaxy M20, great autonomy for a little more
The Samsung Galaxy M20 stands out for its large 5,000 mAh battery. In addition, it is the second most economical model in the series. This terminal has a design very, very similar to the Galaxy M10. It seems that Samsung has not wanted to differentiate them by their physical appearance, but by their benefits. Therefore, all those who opt for these two versions will have an identical design. This mobile, which we have already analyzed in Tuexperto, has a 6.3-inch screen with a Full HD + resolution.
In performance we find an eight-core Exynos 7904 processor and accompanied with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. In the photographic section we have a main sensor of 13 megapixels and a secondary sensor of 5 MP, which will help us take wide-angle photographs. For its part, the front is 8 megapixels with an f / 2.0 aperture.
This model has Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and a fingerprint reader. Its price is 230 euros. Somewhat higher than the previous model for having more powerful features. Even so, it is still a very interesting price.
Samsung Galaxy M30: the triple camera arrives
The Samsung Galaxy M30 already goes up a bit more level. The third terminal in the M range has a somewhat larger screen and has a triple camera on the rear, although it retains its rounded polycarbonate design with a frameless front and a 'U' shaped notch.
The screen grows to 6.4 inches, with a Full HD + resolution and Super AMOLED technology. This screen is moved by an Exynos 7904 processor. It is the same as in the Samsung Galaxy M20, but in this model we find up to a 6 GB version of RAM and a 4 GB base.
The triple lens has a very interesting setup. On the one hand, we have a 13 megapixel main sensor. The second camera is a 5 megapixel wide angle and the third sensor maintains the 5 megapixel resolution, but is intended for depth of field. In this way we will get better photos with blur effect. All this with a 5,000 mAh battery and features such as a fingerprint reader, face unlock or Android 9.0 Pie. Its price? of about 185 euros to change. Unfortunately it is not sold in Spain.
Samsung Galaxy M40, with hole in the screen
Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy M40. It is the most powerful and best-designed model, but also the most expensive of all. What stands out in this device is its screen. Not because of the size (6.3 ”Full HD +), but because it has a game located in the upper right area. There is the 16 megapixel selfie camera. In addition, on the back we find a triple lens of up to 32 megapixels, 8 megapixels wide angle and 5 megapixels with depth of field.
The processor also changes. We went from an Exynos to a mid-range chip manufactured by Qualcomm , the Snapdragon 675. It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. On the other hand, its battery is 3,500 mAh with fast charging and comes under Android 9.0 Pie and One UI.
This terminal goes on sale at a price of about 250 euros for a single version. An interesting price but that does not reach Spain. At least for the moment.
