Samsung has just announced a new device, currently only relegated to the Asian market. It is the Samsung Galaxy J7 +, a terminal that surprises with its characteristics and price. The new model of the South Korean has a double camera on the rear of 13 and 5 megapixels. A front sensor for selfies with a resolution of 16 megapixels and a power that is not bad at all. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 processor accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. There is no lack of fingerprint reader or Bixby assistant either. It can be booked from today until September 17 in the Asian market for 330 euros at the exchange rate. His landing in Europe is not ruled out.

Design and power

The new Samsung Galaxy J7 + is dressed in an aluminum chassis. Its aesthetic is very similar to that of other mid-range terminals of the company. With a front part with a large screen and a home button, where the fingerprint reader is located. If we turn it around, we see the double camera and the brand's logo presiding over the central part. Its edges are slightly rounded to facilitate grip. This model has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution. It also has the Always On function, which will allow us to access specific functions without having to turn on the panel.

Inside the Samsung Galaxy J7 + there is room for a MediaTek Helio P20 processor. It is a chip very similar to the Snapdragon 625, which runs at up to 2.4GHz speed. It is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space, expandable through the use of microSD cards.

A photographic section that will not leave you indifferent

The photographic section is perhaps what most attracts the attention of this new device. In its back we find a double main sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels and an aperture of f / 1.7. The second sensor is 5 megapixels with aperture of f / 1.9. As you can see, these are very low apertures that will favor captures in low light. The secondary camera is not bad either, since it has a resolution of 16 megapixels and aperture of f / 1.9. It is perfect, therefore, for selfies. However, a flash is missing. We will have to be content with the illumination of the terminal screen itself for the moments when we want to take a self-portrait with less light.

For the rest, the Samsung Galaxy J7 + also has a Bixby virtual assistant, as well as a 3,000 mAh battery capacity. At the moment, we do not know if it will arrive with fast charge. Nothing has been mentioned, so we think not.

Price and availability

The Samsung Galaxy J7 + can already be purchased through a reservation in some Asian countries such as Thailand. Its arrival in Europe is not confirmed, although it is not ruled out. Its price to change is 330 euros.
