The Galaxy A family grows. The South Korean company is betting very strongly on a wide mid / high-end catalog, with mobiles that have very interesting specifications at relatively cheap prices. An example is the recently introduced Samsung Galaxy A80, an all-screen mobile that includes a rotating camera. In addition, it comes with an eight-core processor and up to 8 GB of RAM. We tell you everything you need to know about this new mobile, its technical specifications and how much it will cost.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 is undoubtedly one of the strangest phones we have seen on the market. It has a somewhat peculiar design, with a curved back, where we see the company logo, as well as a triple sensor in the upper area. Yes, the location is not the most correct, but there is an excuse. It is a rotating camera. A lens that incorporates an automatic mechanism and that is rotated to use this triple sensor as a camera for selfies. What this mechanism does is slightly raise the upper part of the body and turn the camera from the rear to the front.
Of course, the front has a panoramic format, without frames in the upper and lower area. The notch or frame is eliminated as it is not necessary to house the camera or sensors.

The Samsung Galaxy A80 has a screen of nothing more and nothing less than 6.7 inches, with a Full HD + resolution. It is large, yes, but as it has hardly any frames, the dimensions are somewhat more restrained. Inside this mobile we find an eight-core processor, accompanied by a powerful 8 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 128 GB. All this with an autonomy of 3,700 mAh, which also incorporates 25 W fast charging. Another interesting detail is that the Galaxy A80 incorporates a fingerprint reader integrated into the screen.
A main camera that also works for your selfies
What about the cameras? The triple sensor is used for both the rear and the front. The main lens, for taking normal photographs, has a resolution of 48 megapixels. The second sensor is an 8 megapixel wide angle lens. It has a 123-degree angle for group photos or selfies. Finally, a ToF Sensor (3D). This lens allows shallow depth of field and is used to support the main camera. In this way, we can take much more detailed portrait effect photographs. The ToF lens has other uses, such as an augmented reality enhancement.
The Galaxy A80's camera can also be used for video recording thanks to its Super Steady video mode. What this option does is improve stabilization and noise in video shots.
