This year Samsung has added new terminals to the Galaxy A family with two clear premises: affordable price and outstanding features. However, as we increase the numbering, the benefits improve and the cost increases slightly. Of the different models announced, the Samsung Galaxy A60, A70 and A80 are the ones with a superior technical profile. These three models include a triple camera, large screens, an eight-core processor and 6 or 8 GB of RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A70 are perfect equipment for users looking for a simple mobile, with good features, but that does not exceed 350 euros. However, the Samsung Galaxy A80 boasts interesting news, which make it raise its price to 630 euros. We can cite a more worked design in metal and glass, or a camera for selfies that feeds on the main one thanks to a rotation system. In this way, the panel is fully used, the notch is suppressed, using the three main cameras on the front. If you are thinking of acquiring one of these three mobiles, but you have not yet finished deciding, do not worry. Below we give you all the details to help you in your purchase.

Design and display
Of the three models, the Samsung Galaxy A80 is the one that offers a superior design. The device wears a glass chassis with metallic edges, with an all-screen front in which there is no notch or shutter presence. So how did the company manage to add the secondary sensor? If you look at the back you will see that in the upper area there is a second add-on that shows a kind of covered module. This is the space reserved for the rotation system. The moment it is activated, the main camera rises discreetly and occupies the back, so we can take advantage of its three sensors for selfies.
This is perhaps the most representative of its design, which in turn is quite clean, without disturbing elements (except for the Samsung logo). Another advantage is that the fingerprint sensor is on the screen itself, just like the Galaxy A70. On the Galaxy A60, on the other hand, it is present at the rear and is physical.
Samsung Galaxy A80
Both the Samsung Galaxy A60 and the Samsung Galaxy A70 are built with a coating baptized by the company as 3D Glasstic, composed of plastic with a curved glass finish. Both devices shine in the hand, the colors change according to how the light is giving them. If you look at the front, they have differences. The Galaxy A60 arrives with a perforation in the screen to house the front camera, the A70 has a notch or notch. In any case, both are the complete protagonists, the reduction of frames is remarkable in both teams.
Regarding the screen, in this case the A70 and A80 share size: 6.7 inches with Full HD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080) and Super AMOLED technology. The size of the Galaxy A60 panel drops to 6.3 inches, it also has Full HD + resolution, and in its case with IPS LCD technology.

Processor and memory
The three new Samsung Galaxy A are ready to perform without problems. They allow us to make use of current applications or carry out several processes at the same time without affecting performance. The Galaxy A60 and A70 share a processor, a Snapdragon 675, accompanied by 6 GB of RAM inside the A60 and 6 or 8 GB in the A70. For storage we have 128 GB (expandable by using microSD cards).
The Samsung Galaxy A80 performs a little more thanks to a Snapdragon 7150, an eight-core SoC, two running at 2.2 GHz and six at 1.7 GHz. This goes hand in hand with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal space (without possibility of extension).
Samsung Galaxy A70
Photographic section
All three teams have a triple main sensor. Specifically, the Galaxy A60 and A70 also coincide in this section. Its three cameras are made up of RGB, wide-angle (123º angulation) and telephoto lenses of 32, 8 and 5 megapixels, with focal apertures f / 1.7, f / 2.2 and f / 2.2. In our tests, we found that in places where the light is good, natural scenes with realistic colors are achieved, although it is true that some details are almost imperceptible, such as the texture of clothing or small fluff. For selfies, the two terminals have a 32 megapixel sensor with focal aperture f / 2.0, in the case of the A60, and f / 2.2 in the A70.
Separate mention deserves the main camera of the Samsung Galaxy A80, which, as we have already explained, is the same in the back as in the front thanks to that included rotation system. This model comes with two 48 and 8 megapixel sensors with a 123º wide-angle lens and f / 2.0 and f / 2.2 focal apertures, respectively. Next to them is a third ToF sensor to assist in portrait mode images, although it also serves to measure the volume of objects and thereby improve the final capture result.
Samsung Galaxy A60
Battery and connections
If the battery is important to you when deciding on one model or another, of the three the Samsung Galaxy A70 is the one that takes the best part. It equips a 4,500 mAh with fast charge, which, according to our tests, gives for long hours of use using applications that consume a lot of autonomy, such as Pokémon Go, updating social networks, writing WhatsApp or watching videos on YouTube.
The worst off is the Galaxy A60 with a 3,500 mAh (also with fast charging). It is closely followed by the Galaxy A80 with a 3,700 mAh and fast charge. Regarding the connections, all three include the same, very common in mid-range or high-end mobiles: 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b / g / n Dual, GPS GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB type C.
