Samsung's Galaxy A series has been growing little by little. During the last months we have seen how it evolved in specifications, with up to 4 cameras in the Samsung Galaxy A9, the last device of the family. It seems that Samsung, despite launching another range called Galaxy M, will continue to renew its mid-range terminals - high. The specifications of a Samsung Galaxy A40 have been revealed.
Its specifications have appeared in a Geekbench file, it shows the model number SM-A405FN. It belongs to the Galaxy A family and calls itself Galaxy A40. In the file we can see that it includes the latest version of Android , Android 9 Pie and that it has about 4 GB of RAM. As well as an Exynos 7885 processor, a mid-range chip. It is the same as the Galaxy A8 2018. The A40 achieves a score of 1,319 in single core and 3976 in multi-core.
Galaxy A90, a more complete version
Rumors claim that this terminal would have a Super AMOLED panel. Samsung is also preparing other versions of the device. During the last hours a leak revealed a Galaxy A90, a somewhat more complete edition, which would arrive with up to 128 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM. The new series would incorporate an on-screen fingerprint reader and a camera with hardly any frames. At the moment we have not seen details of the design, nor new specifications. It seems that this new device will be launched during the middle of this year. Of course, its price is still unknown.
A curious fact is that Samsung is striving more and more in the Galaxy A series, adding more premium specifications and a design very similar to the Galaxy S. Everything could be for a reason, and that is that we must leave room for the new Galaxy M, which will arrive during this month of January and will be located in the middle of the Galaxy J (entry range) and Galaxy A (medium / high range).
