During the last hours we have been seeing rumors and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy A40, A50, A60 and A90. Details such as that will incorporate a fingerprint reader on the screen, a new design and more memory. But… what are these new Samsung phones? What family do they belong to? We will tell you below all the details of these new terminals and what we know so far.
The Galaxy A40, A50, A60 and A90 (it is likely that there is also a Galaxy A70) would belong to the Galaxy A family. Samsung divides its range by names. The Galaxy J are the entry range, the Galaxy S and Note the high range and the Galaxy A, the mid range. Little by little the Galaxy A have grown to become a mid / high range, even touching the Galaxy S family. A great example is the A9 2018, which incorporates four cameras and specifications very similar to the Galaxy S9. The point is that Samsung is preparing a new range, the Galaxy M. These would be located around the Galaxy J and Galaxy A family, the latter taking the latter to be in the mid / high range category.
The truth is that we do not know why a 0 in the device names, since Samsung differentiates them by generations (A9 2018, A7 2018…). It may be because they will go a step further in specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A90, the most powerful
The Samsung Galaxy A90 would be the most powerful terminal. Few details are still known, but a leak revealed that this terminal could have 128 GB of internal storage. Currently, this version is held by high-end devices. In addition, it could come with up to 8 GB of RAM, Super AMOLED panel and on-screen fingerprint reader. We do not know details about the design, but the source confirmed that it would have graduated finishes. The Samsung Galaxy A90 would be presented during the second quarter of 2019.
Samsung Galaxy A60
We also know details about this device, the Samsung Galaxy A60 will be another powerful version, perhaps with some more basic configuration in its camera or processor. The interesting thing about this terminal is that it will have a camera directly on the screen, as the Samsung Galaxy A8s already has (it is likely that the Galaxy A90 also includes it). It could also have a triple main camera, although the source does not assure it. On the other hand, this device could be released in April, being the first terminal to be revealed.
Samsung Galaxy A50
Yes, we jumped from the Galaxy A60 straight to the A50. There will likely be a Galaxy A70 as well. However, at the moment, there is no leak of this device. The Galaxy A50 has been leaked and there are quite a few rumors. This would have an autonomy of 4,000 mAh, it would have an on-screen fingerprint reader and a 4 GB RAM memory. Its processor: the Exynos 9610. This device could have a 24 megapixel camera. It would have characteristics very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A40.
Samsung Galaxy A40
This terminal would have more basic specifications, although more than enough to be a medium / high range. The Galaxy A40 was unveiled a few hours ago on Geekbench and it showed some specs. It will have a 4 GB RAM memory, as well as an Exynos 7885 processor. In addition, it will have a great autonomy, 4,000 mAh and will arrive with Android 9.0 Pie.
