This year is presented as an interesting year in mobile telephony. New and better terminals of the different brands are expected. A brand that always creates expectations and that many users expect is Samsung. We have seen different leaks about the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 +, now we have confirmed its new processor the Exynos 9810. We tell you in detail its main characteristics.
Samsung Exynos 9810
The Samsung Exynos 9810 is Samsung's newest processor. It is built in 10 nanometers with Samsung's own manufacturing system. Broadly speaking, it has a powerful CPU, improvements for connection speed and the inclusion of advanced improvements in image processing as well as artificial intelligence.
Specifically, the Samsung Exynos 9810 is an eight-core processor. Four of these cores are dedicated to efficiency and the other four to performance. They can reach speeds of up to 2.9 GHz, if we compare it with its previous generation they give a 40% higher performance. It also has a new "neural network" based on learning, so it can offer us greater security as well as faster recognition of images and categorized searches.
We have already said that it comes with improvements in connectivity, these improvements are based on the inclusion of the first Cat.18 LTE modem. This new modem offers download speeds of up to 1.2Gbps and 200 Mbps download. So we can transfer files much faster and even according to Samsung we will be able to stream in 4K without any kind of cuts or interference.
Photography is one of Samsung's strong points. We have already seen how the previous generation with the Samsung Galaxy S8. S8 + and Note 8 have outstanding photographic sections. The new Exynos 9810 will enhance these sections with a new dedicated image processing system. This new post-processing system will also improve stabilization in images and videos. In addition to reducing noise and getting them to have more detail. It also offers the possibility of recording video in 4K at 120 fps.
Samsung has announced that the Samsung Exynos 9810 is currently in production and will be unveiled at CES in Las Vegas. We hope to see it mounted on the new terminals when they are introduced.
