Samsung wants to keep breaking sales records. And the next goal for 2012 has already been unveiled: to increase sales for this year 2011 by 15 percent. The company, thanks to its Samsung Galaxy family where models such as Samsung Galaxy S or the most recent and first sword of the moment stand out: Samsung Galaxy S2.
Currently, Samsung is expected to close this year 2011 with a sales quota of 325 million mobile phones sold worldwide. The 15 percent increase imposed for next year would bring the Korean manufacturer to 375 million units sold. What's more, the current flagship has sold more than ten million units.
Achieving this imposed goal, Samsung would get closer to the current world leader, the Nordic manufacturer Nokia, which, with its large catalog of terminals, adapts to any type of audience, whether they are more or less demanding. The data comes from the local newspaper and it is indicated that of the 375 million units, 150 are advanced mobile phones or smartphones.
It must also be taken into account that within the accounts that have been made are terminals as important and leading as the latest presentations that the Asian giant has made. Some examples are: Samsung Galaxy Nexus - the first mobile with Android 4.0 -, and the giant Samsung Galaxy Note that is presented as the first hybrid between a smartphone and a tablet, whose touch screen reaches the not inconsiderable figure of 5.3 inches in diagonal.
