Still little is known about its existence, but a few weeks ago it came to the fore in the form of a rumor. We are talking about the Samsung Continuum, a device that according to the latest news could go on sale from November 11, for now in the United States. It remains to be seen, after success or failure, if the Korean firm decides to export the terminal to the Old Continent, to the satisfaction of users here. In any case, we know that it is a touch device with two screens and an Android operating system.
According to the first technical characteristics that have come to light, the device has a couple of screens working with Super AMOLED technology. The first and main one would have an extension of up to 3.4 inches, while the second, would consist of 1.8 inches and the function of displaying any notice or message that has reached us, without the need to turn on the big screen and waste energy. Additionally, the device would have a camera of up to five megapixels, autofocus and the possibility of recording video in high definition or 720p.
The device will go on the market by the hand of Verizon, the famous American operator, and will do so before Christmas arrives. In fact, this will become one of the options to give away on these dates. Then we will have to wait for Samsung's evaluations to see if it is possible that this Samsung Continuum is incorporated into the Spanish catalogs. Any details about the price are unknown, but it is known that it will reach users with a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 2 GB of internal memory and the possibility of expanding it up to 8 GB with microSDHC cards.
