Samsung has come out. The Korean firm, owner of the brand new Samsung Galaxy S II, has spoken to give frankly revealing news. Just before this terminal is put on sale, it has been known that the Korean company is working on the development of a new mobile phone that will leave more than one jaw dropped. The news has appeared in the Maeli Business Newspaper, following statements - in secret - from a senior executive of the Samsung company. And although we still cannot assure that this is true, it is not surprising that the firm is working on the development of adevice much more advanced than what has been usual so far.
But let's get to the point. According to this newspaper, the senior manager has revealed that the new device in which Samsung is working would have a dual-core processor, running at a speed of 2 GHz for each core. In this way, the Korean would be very close to achieving a high-capacity terminal, which would double the possibilities of the phone and make it one of the most advanced devices on the market. Keep in mind that even though the Samsung Galaxy S II is a dual-core terminal, it only works at a clock speed of 1 GHz. In this way, it has managed to position itself as themost powerful smartphone to date. We will have to see what the future holds.
One of the most interesting rumors that we already have at our fingertips has to do with Samsung's intention to export this technology to other brands. In this way, we would not be talking about a mobile phone necessarily included in the Korean firm's catalog, but rather that the new processor - and who knows if the rest of the components - could be marketed through other firms specialized in advanced mobile telephony. At the moment, we cannot talk about a specific model. We will have to wait a bit to know all the news about the new device.
