The price of high-end mobile phones is getting higher and higher. The fault of this is the level of innovation of the phones and the cost of the components. It is well known that the motherboard and the screen are two of the most expensive components of a smartphone. Now Samsung has just released the Samsung Galaxy S10 screen repair price in China for all models i.e Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 +. If you plan to buy any of these, then you'd better protect it like cloth gold.
Repairing the Samsung Galaxy S10 screen will be more expensive than buying the new Galaxy S10
No, this is not a joke. The company has just released the repair price for all S10 models currently sold in China.
As we can see in the comparison table, the Galaxy S10 Plus is the one that takes the cake in terms of screen repair price, with a price higher than 7,000 yuan, which in Spain exceeds 900 euros.
The same table converted to euros is as follows:
- Samsung Galaxy S10 + screen repair price: $ 1,060 (933 euros to change)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 screen repair price: $ 960 (845 euros to change)
- Samsung Galaxy S10e screen repair price: 800 dollars (704 euros to change)
Compared to last year's Samsung Galaxy S9, the S10's display is more than 200 euros higher than the official repair price. This is mainly due to the fact that the screen of the new Samsung model introduces the new Dynamic AMOLED technology that, in addition to improving the quality of the panel, makes the final price of it more expensive. Also the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the screen makes the panel repair more expensive than in past generations.
We must bear in mind that the value that is dictated here is the price that Samsung estimates for the repair of the screen in the event that it is not covered by the warranty. If the panel has a factory defect (dead pixels, burned screen, internal breakage…), the company should cover the repair in full and free of charge.
It should be added that the prices include the repair value of the models in China. As is usual in the company, it is likely that this same conversion on arrival in Spain will be made 1: 1, so the final price could be similar to that of the US currency.
