Plastic design that mimics that of the Redmi 7
The design is surely one of the aspects where the Xiaomi Redmi Y3 differs the most from the rest of Xiaomi mid-range mobiles.
Entirely made of plastic body and a water-shaped notch screen that has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection against bumps and scratches. The latter, by the way, consists of a 6.26-inch IPS LCD panel with HD + resolution and a 19: 9 ratio.
Regarding the rest of the design aspects, we know that the terminal has resistance to splashes (not to immersions and dust), a physical fingerprint sensor and a jack input for the headphones, as well as a micro USB connection.
Same features as the Redmi 7
Although the Redmi Y3 has some differences with respect to the Xiaomi Redmi 7, the truth is that it is a very similar terminal. This is reflected by its technical characteristics.
Snapdragon 632 processor, 3 and 4 GB of RAM and a memory configuration ranging from 32 to 64 GB expandable by micro SD cards up to 512 GB.
For the rest, the terminal has a 4,000 mAh battery without fast charging, Bluetooth 4.2 and an infrared port to act as a remote control.
32 megapixel shrimp for selfies and double camera for the rear
The main difference between the Xiaomi Redmi Y3 and the Redmi 7 is the cameras.
At the rear we find a configuration very similar to that of the aforementioned device, with a double 12 and 2 megapixel camera and a telephoto lens for photos in portrait mode. We do not know data about the focal aperture, but everything indicates that it will be identical to the Redmi 7, with an f / 2.2 in the main sensor.
As for the front sensor, Xiaomi has decided to include a sensor of no less than 32 megapixels with a focal aperture f / 2.0. According to the company, the AI built into the processor helps to obtain brighter selfies and a more natural portrait mode, as well as stabilization when recording videos in 1080p.
Price and availability of the Xiaomi Redmi Y3 in Spain
As is usual, Xiaomi has not disclosed the price and availability of the terminal beyond the Indian country. The only thing we know is its value in rupees, which leaves us with a roadmap similar to this:
