September has started in August. First it was Samsung with the Galaxy M51. Then TCL, with the TCL 10 Plus and TCL 10 SE. Now it is the turn of the Chinese manufacturer with its new range of entry phones. We are talking about the Xiaomi Redmi 9AT, Redmi 9C and 9C NFC, three devices that hit the market for a price between 100 and 150 euros after being officially presented in China.
Xiaomi Redmi 9AT, the cheapest of the trio
Xiaomi's new low-end comes as the most economical option of the trio, with a 6.53-inch screen with HD + resolution and IPS technology and a polycarbonate finish in black, green and blue. The phone has a Mediatek Helio G25 processor and is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage of type eMMC 5.1.
In the photographic section, the phone uses two cameras on its back and front of 13 and 5 megapixels with focal aperture f / 2.2. For the rest, the Redmi 9AT has a 5,000 mAh battery and a 10 W charging system through the micro USB connector. It has facial unlocking, expansion via micro SD cards and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Its price? 119 euros in Movistar, Yoigo and Vodafone in scoop. It will be available in stores starting tomorrow. It is expected that it will reach the rest of the physical stores throughout the month of September.
Xiaomi Redmi 9C and 9C NFC, Xiaomi's most complete bet in the low range
Following the trend of the Redmi Note series, the Asian manufacturer has launched two terminals under the Redmi 9C range with the only difference being the NFC chip. If we limit ourselves to deciphering their technical specifications, the truth is that they do not differ much from what we find in the Redmi 9AT.
First of all, the two models inherit the polycarbonate design and the 6.53-inch screen with HD + resolution. The only visual difference is found in the rear camera module, which now uses two 13 and 2 megapixel cameras. As usual, the second sensor is intended to improve the results of Portrait mode. In the front we find the same 5 megapixel sensor of the Redmi 9AT.
The rest of the details are practically identical to those of the Redmi 9AT: 5,000 mAh battery, 10 W fast charge, micro USB connection, headphone jack port… Where we do find substantial differences is in the technical section, starting with the processor, which now evolves to Mediatek's Helio G35, a more powerful model than the G25.
If we talk about the available memory configurations, the Redmi 9C NFC uses a single configuration of 2 and 32 GB of RAM and ROM. The Redmi 9C, for its part, has two versions of 2 and 32 GB and 3 and 64 GB, both with the possibility of expansion through micro SD cards.
As for the price of the two devices, the Redmi 9C goes on sale today for 119 and 139 euros in the stores of Xiaomi, Alcampo, El Corte Inglés, Eroski, Fnac, MediaMarkt, PC Components and Worten. The Redmi 9C NFC is available in the Orange catalog starting at 129 euros from today and later at Carrefour. Throughout this month a new version with 3 and 64 GB will be launched in the Xiaomi and Amazon store.
