Redmi, the company belonging to Xiaomi, announced a few weeks ago the Redmi 7. It is a mid-range mobile with powerful features and a very interesting price. The Redmi 7 has a 48-megapixel main camera at a price that does not exceed 130 euros. But it seems that Xiaomi will soon announce a more economical model, the Redmi 7a. This one has appeared on TENAA showing its full design. Thanks to this we also see some characteristics.
As we can see in the images, the Xiaomi Redmi 7a will be an even more compact terminal. Its rear is apparently made of polycarbonate, with rounded corners. In the upper area we see the main camera, which is accompanied by an LED flash. It seems that this lens will feature artificial intelligence, which would be applied to scene recognition. That is, the camera will be able to detect different scenarios (plants, buildings, food…) and adjust the scenes automatically. At the bottom we see the Redmi logo. Unfortunately, there is no fingerprint reader.
Redmi 7a, with HD + screen and for about 80 euros
Nor do we see it on the front, a front with frames in the upper and lower area. The logo will also be placed on the chin, while in the frame above we only see a camera for selfies and a speaker for calls.
That this device passes through TENAA reveals an imminent launch. In the coming weeks we could see this Xiaomi entry-level model announced. We still have many specifications to know, but most likely it includes Android Go, the special edition of Google's operating system. Rumors speak of a panel with HD + resolution and a format of 18: 9. Inside we could find 2 or 3 GB of RAM, as well as an eight-core Mediatek processor. Its price would be around 80 euros. We will be attentive to future news of this mobile.
