90 Hz display for gaming audiences

Neither short nor lazy, Realme has chosen to mount two panels of 6.5 and 6.6 inches of 90 Hz refresh rate. Both have a Full HD + resolution and both use IPS technology.

If we talk about the design of the Realme 6 and 6 Pro, the line marked by the manufacturer inevitably reminds us of that of Xiaomi with the Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro. In summary, the two phones have a perforated screen that houses the cameras of the front of. The cheapest model has a single sensor, while the Realme 6 Pro has two front cameras. The rear part, accompanied by a housing made of glass, has a photographic module made up of four cameras.

Another aspect of the design that should be highlighted has to do with the position of the fingerprint sensor, located on the sides of both terminals. The Realme 6 Pro, by the way, has a “supralinear” speaker system that promise to improve the listening experience in games and multimedia.

Hardware: Mediatek on the one hand, Snapdragon on the other

The differences between the Realme 6 and the Realme 6 Pro go beyond screen size. The main and most important has to do with hardware. The first uses a Mediatek Helio G90T processor (the same as the Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro), while the second has a Snapdragon 720G processor. The performance is similar in both, at least in numbers.

Regarding the memory configuration, Realme has chosen to integrate similar options in the two terminals: 4, 6 and 8 GB of RAM in the case of the Realme 6 and 6 and 8 GB in the case of the Realme 6 Pro. Both have the same amount of storage: 64 and 128 GB of storage. This is replicated in the rest of the specifications, as both have a 4,300 mAh battery and a 30 W fast charging system. There is nothing.

Four cameras for each one with the odd surprise

The photographic section of the two Realme phones is very similar to each other. The two have a total of four cameras. Three of these are identical, at least in theory.

In summary, we find a 64 megapixel main sensor, an 8 secondary sensor with a 119º wide angle lens and a 2 sensor with a macro lens. The last sensor uses a 2 megapixel monochrome camera in the case of the Realme 6 and a camera with a 12 megapixel telephoto lens in the case of the Realme 6 Pro.

If we move to the front, the two have a 16-megapixel main camera. As we anticipated at the beginning, the Realme 6 Pro adds an additional 8 megapixel camera that also uses a wide angle lens. Realme has not released the specifications of the latter, beyond the resolution.

Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro price and availability

There are three versions that Realme has launched for each of the terminals presented. As is usual, the company has not confirmed the price or the date of availability in the Spanish market, so we will have to wait for official data to exist. We leave you below with the price list presented by the brand:

  • Realme 6 with 4 and 64 GB: around 160 euros to change
  • Realme 6 with 6 and 128 GB: around 185 euros to change
  • Realme 6 with 8 and 128 GB: around 196 euros to change
  • Realme 6 Pro with 6 and 128 GB: around 220 euros to change
  • Realme 5 Pro with 6 and 64 GB: about 210 euros to change
