Just a couple of days ago Razer placed an ad on their website stating that on November 1 they have a product presentation ready. In the image you can see a boy with a mobile in his hand, which led us to suppose that it will be the much rumored "mobile for gaming". And if this image was not enough, today the possible technical characteristics of the Razer Phone have appeared on the network.
Razer is a well known manufacturer of gaming devices. Its mice, keyboards and headphones are highly valued in the gaming community. However, it seems that the company wants to go a step further and try its luck in the smartphone market. If so far it was just a rumor, the possibility that we saw a Razer Phone is now confirmed. The terminal has appeared in GFXBENCH tests. So, in the absence of becoming official, we already know what technical characteristics the mobile will have.
So far we know that the Razer Phone will have a screen of 5.7 inches with resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. That is, it will have a Quad HD screen. However, this resolution makes us think that we will not see a screen without frames. At least not in the style of current Samsung or LG flagships.
Inside the Razer Phone we will find a Qualcomm processor with eight cores running at 2.4 GHz. The GPU will be an Adreno 540, with OpenGL ES 3.2 and OpenCL 2.0. Taking into account that it is a mobile for gamers, the graphic power should be higher than that of any other mobile on the market.
In addition, to move all the games with ease, the Razer Phone will have 8 GB of RAM. It is a very unusual amount of memory in a mobile. In terms of storage, it seems that we will have 64 GB.
Finally, we also have data from the photographic section. The main camera will have 12 megapixels of resolution with autofocus system. This will be able to record video with 4K UHD resolution. At the moment no more information has been given about her.
At the front it includes an 8 - megapixel camera. This is capable of recording video with a QXGA resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels.
All this hardware will be controlled by the Android Razer Edition system, based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. At the moment it seems a fairly powerful hardware, as expected. We will have to wait to see if the next November 1 is confirmed.
