We read a lot about what is best for our Android mobile : how to increase performance, autonomy, how to correctly set a wallpaper, have the best applications of the moment… What is not so clear, what is never talked about, It's about what we shouldn't do Those kinds of things that it is better not to enable or activate, because doing so would have a negative impact on the system and, therefore, on our device. We list some of them.
Install apps with unnecessary permissions
Regular users of Google Play know perfectly well that when they install an application for the first time they are asked for permission to access certain functions of the phone. For example, if a maps app is installed, it is normal to request access to the GPS, while if the application has to do with communications services it could require access to the phone and its records. Usually giving this type of permission is good, since it helps developers to better serve users. However, there are times when permissions are completely unnecessary. As a general rule, always be very careful with the apps you download. To do this, look at the comments you have. Try to install the permissions that are related to the theme of the app, but remember that they can always be restricted through the settings.
Install apps to save battery
Most battery-saving apps do more harm than good. It is true that there are some good ones like Greenify, which offers the possibility of putting our apps to hibernate. However, they are especially negative if many are used at the same time. For most users, the best way to maximize battery is conducting a series of basic actions. If you want to save autonomy, nothing better than turning off the automatic brightness, darkening the screen at critical moments and deactivating any of the functions that consume the most, such as Bluetooth, WiFi or GPS, when we are not using them. You can also identify and uninstall those applications that are proven to consume too much battery, as is the case with Facebook.
Ignore phone updates
It is one of the great mistakes. The result could not be worse: security failures, poor autonomy, overheating, data connection errors, system instability… All these problems can be easily solved by installing all the updates that come to our Android mobile. You can check it in the settings section, about the system.
Do not make backup copies
Imagine that you lose your phone or it breaks down suddenly, you would lose all your files, photos and videos with no option to recover them. The best thing is that you make a backup copy regularly to be sure that, if something happens, you will not be left without the photos of your last trip or without those funny videos that your friends have sent you. To make backup copies successfully, you can do it from the device itself, or using an application such as SuperBackup.
